The restaurant was really nice with good value meals here, I had appetising dishes.

Great-sized, delightful hotel, its stuff and rooms where fantastic. Superfriendly staff especially the two night receptionists who looked after me so well for a very early breakfast, comfortable bar. Tasty breakfast selection with as much tea or coffee and juices, reasonably priced. Stunning and easy location in the local area, just off centre and pubs and eating houses and restaurants. Easy check in and easy check out. Everything lovely.

We had a spacious classic double room with a comfy bed. The bathroom had a powerful shower and free toiletries. Our windows had blackout blinds for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was fresh with loads of options, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Parking was easy too!

I liked perfect food.

I was really impressed by the level of care from the staff from the opening email to the settling of bills. Expertly managed and fantastic attention to detail.

A very nice hotel with British charm and very friendly staff.

The facilities are a little old and in need of an update, but everything was clean and very nice and homely, and the staff were exceptional and very helpful. We stayed Friday 3rd Oct 2014 and would in particular like to thank the reception staff.

Noise from nearby rooms can be quite disruptive!!! Cleanliness needs attention, especially in bathrooms and window frames!!! Consider improving insulation to mitigate cold drafts from old windows!!!
